Mountain Pursuit Challenge

Mountain Pursuit Challenges (MPC) are hillwalking and backpacking weekends organised by Scouting Ireland. These are lightweight, wild camping weekends for Scouts between 13 and 15. There are 4 events a year, one in each of the provinces: Munster, Ulster, Leinster and Connacht.

The Teams consist of 4 scouts and 1 Scouter who remains with the Scouts for the whole weekend.

Mountain pursuit participants typically move on to take on Venture mountain havoc once they reach ventures.
