About Our Beaver Section

Our Beaver Sea Scout Colony is the first step on the Scouting journey for young people in Primary School 1st & 2nd class . Here, Beavers make new friends, learn by doing, and discover the fun of adventure—both on land and on the water.

As Sea Scouts, we introduce Beavers to the sea and the outdoors in safe and age-appropriate ways. From games and crafts to nature walks and water activities, Beavers explore teamwork, creativity, and the values of Scouting in a supportive environment.

What We Do

The Colony provides a space where every child is included, encouraged, and given the chance to grow in confidence while having fun. Our aim is to spark curiosity, build friendships, and set Beavers on course for a lifelong love of adventure and the sea.

Our usually weekly session is at the Den on Tuesdays between 6:45pm to 7:45pm
